Review: John Tucker Must Die

This movie wasnt that bad . It appeals to guys and gals with its slapstick humour and theme of romance . The acting could have been better in some parts especially near the end . I do hope they dont make the sequal because it doesnt need it , as i have stated before with these type of movies you will get bored and forget why you watched in the first place ( ie Lord of the rings ) .

Its me again . Another fine Tom Cruise film which a lot of people have forgot about . Most of you remember this movie for that cheesy song , but the script was brilliant and Cruise with Duvall put honest performances across . Tony Scott is a good director in his own right and shouldn't be compared to brother Ridley because both create different settings to their films.

What a funny film . Watched in on SKY HD and was amazed by the contrast and colour on view .

Good story for kids and super timed jokes for adults . However i have just read there are making a sequel and this disappoints me . There is no need for this as the story was told and had an ending . Please dont fall into same trap as many joke films do and make movie after movie ie Lord of the Rings.

Feature: A Night For Saw Eyes!

On the 8th November I watched Saw, Saw II and Saw III back to back. It may not be the best triology ever seen or the best horror
films , but boy it keeps you on the edge of you comfty couch . I have no idea why because the acting and the directing is poor . However bring on another few Saws

Feature: Big Stews' Top 10 Animated Movies

Madagscar is my number one due to the story being very realistic and there is also a connection with the animal characters. Shark tale and Sherk offer great comedy moments which is important in animation. Fox and Hound is one of Disneys finest and goes into great detail of social skills which can be learnt by kids . Pinnocho and Lady and the Tramp are just super stories told which get the cinema crowd involved in the film. Tom and Jerry will always a favourite of mine and you always need a great comedy duo in a top ten . Chicken Run is in due to some great work done by the directors on some scenes.Garfield is an icon around the world and shouldn't be ignored by any list.The Jungle Book has a great soundtrack which kids and ADULTS dance and sing along to.This might be controversial to some BUT i dont go along with popular films which everyone must like.

Review: American Gangster

I've read a few of the reviews about and to be honest I think alot of people were watching a different movie . Why compare it to classics like The Departed and Goodfellas when these were movies telling a different story about gangster life . Amercian Gangster is a superb movie in its own right with some superb stories told through the eyes of Washington and Crowe . I prefer 2 or 3 hour films because you can grasp the whole story , not just guessing what happened . In response to the slating of 50 cent being a tit , may I remind you that Al Pacino , Ray Liotta and Robert De Niro are ACTORS playing roles as gangsters . THEY ARE NOT REAL.

Overall this is a film which should be enjoyed by all fans of the style of 70 ' s classic images . DONT LISTEN TO THE SO CALLED EXPERTS OF GANGSTERS FILMS .
